Woman injured by man.
Man voluntarily provided nursing services.
House of Lords held if defendant providing nursing
care, no need for him to pay for nursing care in damages.
Otherwise, plaintiff would get double recovery.

Wrong to allow insurance company to reduce their costs
just because defendant loves his wife and cares for her.
Law Commission recommended Hunt v Severs be reversed by legislation.]
